The surface of this jug, made of fine-fireclay stoneware, is crisscrossed with delicate longitudinal grooves. These grooves catch the incoming light from different angles, causing the dark green to blue surface to shimmer vividly. The interior is glazed in a soft turquoise.
The spout is positioned as a round opening at the level of the top of the handle. Together with the hand-shaped handle, this creates a distinctive and balanced form. The handle provides a secure grip even when the pitcher is full.
